Saskia Rigby is a passionate ceramic designer who has been working in the industry for nearly 7 years.
Upon graduating from Manchester School of Art with a degree in Three Dimensional Design - Ceramics, Saskia set up her studio in Staffordshire, where she honed her craft and developed her unique style.
Today, Saskia also works for 1882 Ltd as apprentice to modeller Andrew Henshall. Often inspired by nature and the world around her, Saskia’s work is known for its intricate designs and colour palettes, and sells through galleries and shops across the world.
Saskia focuses on creating beautiful pieces for private clients, and designing custom ceramics for clients worldwide. Her work has gained recognition for its high-quality craftsmanship and innovative designs, most recently, being published in Sue Pryke and Linda Bloomfield’s book, “Design and Create Contemporary Tableware”.
She is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of the art form, experimenting with new techniques and materials to create truly unique and memorable pieces.
